Cost-effective plastic-like parts in low-volume quantities.
Silicone molds and vacuum-cast polyurethane reproduce smooth parts in ABS-like, PP-like, soft and clear materials.
01
Vacuum Casting
A detailed master creates a silicone mold. Degassing, mixing and casting under vacuum rapidly produce replicas close to injection-molded appearance and fit.
02
Process
After master finishing, the silicone mold is made and cut, followed by vacuum casting, heat curing, demolding and trimming.
Master
Finish the SLA or CNC master.
Silicone Mold
Capture texture and define parting.
Casting
Cast degassed polyurethane.
Curing
Cure, trim and finish the parts.
03
Process Features
Ideal for batches around 5 to 50, simulating ABS, PP, clear, rubber-like and flame-retardant materials with painting, printing and inserts.
